The prospective Khadi Institutions can file the application with requisite papers & fees online for registering their institution and issuance of Khadi Certificate. The online application can be accessed through KVIC website www.kvic.org.in or www.kviconline.gov.in and click on “Khadi Institutions Registration Sewa”.
The prospective Khadi Institutions intends to register and to get the Khadi Certificate from the KVIC should remit the registration fee of Rs. 15000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) by way of Demand Draft drawn on a Nationalizes bank in favour of the “Chief Executive Officer, KVIC” payble at Mumbai. The Registration fee will be accepted through RTGS also in the A/c no. 30693240188, State Bank of India, Vile Parle(W) Branch, IFS Code : SBIN0000515.
The Registration process will starts only after receiving the registration fee.
The Directorate of Khadi, KVIC, Mumbai will process the CoR and approve for issuing the Khadi Certificate. After approval, a certificate of Registration (CoR) will be generated online which can be downloaded by the applicant Institution. After obtaining the certificate of registration of such institution may opt for KVIB or KVIC assistance
An organization (Registered Society, Registered Co-Operative Society, Trust) willing to undertake Khadi Program included in their respective bye-laws must submit the following documents to the Board for obtaining Khadi Certificate from KVIC.
• Attested Xerox copy of the registration certificate of the Society/Institution.
• Attested copies of Registered Memorandum of Association confirming the model by-law issued by the KVIC.
• Latest list of Managing Committee duly certified by the registering authority.
• Bio-data of each office bearer/Managing Committee members with photograph duly attested. (Attested copies of Ration Card, Voter Identity Card for proof of identity as well as residence.)
• Resolution copy of AGM.
• Audited Balance Sheet.
• List of Spinners & Weavers with details.
• Documents of Land in favour of society.
• Area of operation to be mentioned for production of Cotton, Muslin & Silk Khadi.
• No-Objection Certificate from BDO/MLA.
• No-Objection Certificate from Local Gram Panchayet.
• No-Objection Certificate from local existing Khadi Society.
• Bank details (Nationalized Bank) with a minimum balance of Rs. 20,000/-.
• Feasibility report duly obtained from concerned District Office of WBKVIB.
On submission of above documents/papers WBKVIB will scrutinize and recommend to KVIC for enlistment by way of New Khadi Certificate as per Khadi Certificate rules for starting Khadi activities.
